![]() ![]() – SeaQuest has submitted an application to exhibit numerous animals at a proposed new aquarium and petting zoo at the Woodbridge Center-and in a letter sent this morning to the New Jersey Division of Fish & Wildlife, PETA urges officials to confer with agencies in Colorado and Nevada, where SeaQuest permits were either suspended or revoked. Please tell others to stay away.PETA Tips Off Officials to Aquarium's History of Animal Deaths, Suspended and Revoked Licenses Everyone please look past the idea of wow my kids get to interact that closely with animals and really see what this place is. The farm animals are stressed with rapid breathing and cringing in corners lying on concrete floors among their own feces. They also had a layer of scum on top of the water of many fish tanks. Many of the tanks were too small, dirty, and dirty water. The toucan was so distressed it was slamming itself into the sides of its cage. They are crawling under your feet or huddled on top of each other because they aren’t in an 80 degree tank like they should be. The lizards available to feed and touch were in an enclosure you could walk into. People were grabbing them and chasing them. Guests have free range access to many of their animals meaning you can touch, feed, and handle them and most without any supervision. ![]() ![]() Concrete floors for all the animals not in tanks. This is advertised as an aquarium but it houses reptiles, sea animals, farm animals, exotic animals and domesticated pets. ![]() We went this week and within 2 minutes of walking in my heart sank. We were given annual passes for Christmas without the person who gave us the passes knowing what an awful place this truly was. I can’t not say something about this terrible place called Sea Quest in the Woodbridge mall. ![]()
